Description

Overview

Bubba Lamp Ceiling Ø42 EU White is the large ceiling lamp of the Bubba collection by Yuchen Wu for Normann Copenhagen, a range of lighting inspired by clusters of floating soap bubbles.

Construction

The shade is etched opal glass with a matte finish. The fitting is a mounting ring in aluminum with a canopy in white painted steel. The lamp is wired straight into the supply (hardwired) or fed by a cord via the hole in the canopy, and a bulb and an external cord are not supplied.

Specifications

Ø42 x H45 cm (Bubba Lamp Ceiling Ø42 EU White, 608298). Socket E27, maximum load 10 W; the recommended bulb is a 10 W LED.

Story

A large ceiling version

Bubba Lamp Ceiling Ø42 puts the collection's bubble-cluster shade on a mounting ring and ceiling canopy. The lamp is recommended for use in the ceiling only, because it is too heavy for the wall canopy and mounting bracket.

Designed in 2023

Bubba is a 2023 design by Yuchen Wu. The lampshades are etched opal glass, a translucent material that gives an even light and a cosy glow.
