Description

Overview

Brera is a 2024 bed by Jean-Marie Massaud. Poliform places it within the Brera family and describes a horizontal, clean and contemporary expression that carries an architectural idea into the bedroom.

Construction

Wood and wood derivatives form the bed frame, beneath flexible-polyurethane padding and a polyester-fibre pre-cover. A hide-covered perimeter surrounds the base. The headboard combines wood and wood derivatives with multi-density flexible polyurethane and a polyester-fibre pre-cover. Fabric and leather covers are removable; the hide cover is not.

Specifications

Largest values in the first complete drawing, not labelled with axes: 2570, 2380 and 1000 mm. The drawing set also prints 2020, 290, 3250 and 3650 mm; none carries a written axis label. An electrical socket can be installed on the panel.

Story

Brera in the bedroom

Poliform says the Brera collection expresses elegance through a horizontal, clean and contemporary line. For the bed, Jean-Marie Massaud treats the bedroom as a designed domestic landscape with an architectural character.

Details shared with the sofa

The manufacturer explicitly connects the bed to the Brera sofa through its hide base, foot and large headboard, describing these as couture details. The bed translates that family language through padded volumes, a hide perimeter and removable upholstery.
