Description
Overview
Brass bell Reading lamp is a Ligne Roset floor lamp by Patrick Zulauf. A black lacquered stem carries a directional shade whose golden brass finish stands out against it.
Construction
The base and stem are epoxy satin black lacquered steel. The head can be set low or high and turns 360°. A black PVC cable runs to a foot switch.
Specifications
Size: 295 x 190 x 1,475 mm (W x D x H); shade 29.5 cm high and 16.5 cm in diameter; base 19 cm diameter; weight 6 kg. The bulb is a GU10 dichroic LED of 5 W with a 36° angle of diffusion.
Story
A shade that follows the reader
The shade of Brass bell Reading lamp is directional: it moves low or high and rotates through 360°, which lets the light source be aimed towards the user. It is made of semi-transparent brass-coloured borosilicate glass.
Black stem, golden shade
The sobriety of the black lacquered stem brings out the golden brass finish of the shade. The base, 19 cm in diameter, and the stem are in epoxy satin black lacquered steel, and the lamp is switched at the foot.
