Overview
Vincent Van Duysen's Boboli is a two-seat outdoor sofa for Molteni&C. The sofa page places it in the same family as the Boboli armchair while giving it a dedicated BDI1 code.
Construction
A solid teak structure and seat support cushions with water-repellent polyester-fibre coverings. The backrest uses hand-woven polypropylene ribbon, and the removable exterior cover is offered in limited fabric categories.
Specifications
Around the BDI1 views, the sheet shows 155, 72.5 and 72 cm. It never identifies their dimensional axes, so width, depth and height remain unassigned.
Story
Two-Seat Addition
Molteni&C's datasheet describes the sofa as the two-seat addition to Boboli. Its family heading gives 2024, but it does not date BDI1 independently, so the product year remains unset.
Shared Material Language
The sofa extends the family's solid-teak and woven-polypropylene construction across a wider seat. The manufacturer's sheet separates the natural teak finish from the ecru cord weave and specifies removable upholstery over water-repellent cushion coverings.
