Description
Overview
Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Bender side table for Minotti as a homage to contemporary sculpture. On a reduced scale it takes up the idea of a metal sheet that curves and stretches under the motion of a wave.
Construction
The base is curved aluminium, 10 mm thick, and carries a bronzed glass top, tempered and 10 mm thick. One side of the base has a varnished satin finish; the other side is varnished in a polished finish. The adjustable metal feet have a Bronze finish, and protective ABS glides are fitted.

Story
A sheet of metal in motion
Bender is presented as a manifest homage to contemporary sculpture. A sharp and decisive mark gives shape to the metal sheet of the base, which carries a bronzed glass surface.
Two surfaces, two shades
A double shade, glossy and opaque, defines the two surfaces of the supporting structure. The sinuous lines and the transparency of the surfaces contrast with the full mass of the seats.
