Description
Overview
Belt Cord Outdoor translates Rodolfo Dordoni's upholstered Belt outline into an exterior seating family. The two-seat sofa uses a woven cord perimeter around reversible cushions.
Frame and Base
A tubular stainless-steel structure is powder coated for exterior use and wrapped with 8 mm polypropylene fibre. The sofa is available on either an extruded aluminium base or CNC-worked solid teak legs.
Cushions
High-resilience foam is combined with viscoelastic chips and Rollo Fill fibre. Water-repellent casings, zippers and thread prepare the cushions for outdoor use, and their covers are completely removable.
Story
From Belt to Cord
The outdoor design follows the enveloping body of the indoor Belt seats. Minotti changes the defining outer band into a corded contour that follows the steel structure.
A Broader Seat Family
The Cord Outdoor group includes a two-seat sofa, bergere, armchair, footstool, lounge armchair and dining little armchair. Several forms can substitute natural-finish teak supports for the aluminium base.
