Construction
The structure is metal with rubber-rich elastic webbing, under a fire-resistant polyurethane foam coat with a breathable heat-bonded fibre finish on white hypoallergenic cotton. The seat cushions are channelled goose down around a polyurethane core and are reversible. Legs come in Canaletto walnut stained Dark Brown, flamed ash with a Black open-pore lacquer, or polished cast aluminium in Brandy.

Story
The belt insert
Minotti's sheet explains that the belt insert marks the seat contours. With leather upholstery the belt is always made of leather strips, worked with the techniques of fine luggage and joined by hand-finished stitching. With fabric, the seat shell cover is assembled with a cotton gros-grain strip whose colour the factory chooses; with leather upholstery the strip is made of the upholstery leather itself. Two zippers under the seat, where the ends of the belt meet, help remove the upholstery.
