Story

A desk in the Baguette family

Baguette Desk, by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, is dated 2021. The Baguette catalogue describes the Baguette table as large and rectangular, in two parts, with an opaque top resting on a highly resistant yet delicate aluminium base.

Less aluminium, a lighter look

The catalogue says the designers focused on the structure so as to use as little aluminium as possible, and that the effect is visual: the heavy top is supported only by four chopstick-looking feet, so that it seems to float. For the desk, Magis pairs this base with a Fenix laminate top and an ABS edge painted white or black.
