Story
A sculptural small table
B&B Italia describes Awa as a sculptural project by Naoto Fukasawa, a versatile object that can serve as a base for many things. Base and top are integrated, which the company presents as the epitome of essential elegance.
Cristalplant and polyurethane
The concept text names a special blend of white Cristalplant® as the technologically advanced material, with a very soft surface similar to natural stone. The same page also lists a hard polyurethane version, AW58T, with a steel internal pin and plate.
