Story

Jean-Marie Massaud

Poliform's page credits Jean-Marie Massaud as the designer of Auguste, and the Poliform news catalogue presents it with a technical data sheet credited to him.

From the director's chair

The catalogue says Auguste reinterprets the iconic director's chair with a radical yet sophisticated attitude. It is designed for the contemporary dining area and deliberately moves away from a traditional idea of elegance, also in its finishes of metal and straw rope.
