Description
Overview
Aston "Cord" Outdoor stool is an outdoor stool in two heights, 101 cm and 114 cm, by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. Its frame is stainless steel in polished Pewter, and it carries a braided polypropylene cord back.
Construction
- Frame: stainless steel prepared in two phases, a zinc primer for exteriors and then a polyester powder coat for exteriors in polished Pewter, the only colour offered
- Seat: a stainless steel plate, laser-cut with a geometric pattern drawn exclusively by Minotti Studio, then finished with a polyester powder coat in polished Pewter
- Backrest and armrests: Taslan polypropylene braid made by air texturization, Ø 7 mm in Light Grey or Dark Brown, Ø 8 mm in Sand, Sunflower, Rust or Khaki Green
- Cushions: high-resilience polyurethane foam with eco-friendly water-resistant fibre; the seat and backrest cushions come off completely
- Slides: protective polyethylene

Story
Pewter steel for exteriors
The stainless steel frame of the Aston "Cord" Outdoor stool receives a zinc primer, which helps the finish paint adhere, followed by a polished Pewter polyester powder coat. Its stainless steel seat carries a geometric pattern laser-cut to an exclusive Minotti Studio design.
Braided cord in two diameters
A special braided polypropylene cord covers the backrest and armrests, Ø 7 mm for two of the colours and Ø 8 mm for the other four. The colours are matched to the Art Lifescape fabrics.
