Description

Astair armchair

Ligne Roset describes Astair as a one-place armchair that brings together pocket-sprung suspension, high-resilience foams and carefully studied padding. Its structure uses particleboard panels, multi-ply panels and tubular steel. The base is bent tubular steel, lacquered in bordeaux or black, with no visible solder joints or screws. The integral seat cushion combines pocket springs with Bultex foam and polyester quilting, while the back cushion, headrest and armrests use further high-resilience Bultex foam layers. Both fabric and leather versions have removable covers.

Story

Comfort built into a light structure

Astair's comfort comes from the combination of pocket-sprung suspension, high-resilience Bultex foam and layered polyester quilting. The armchair's tubular steel structure is carefully bent into its base without visible solder joints or screws. Ligne Roset specifies a one-place version measuring 920 mm wide, 870 mm deep and 1,080 mm high, with a 425 mm seat height. Removable fabric or leather covers and defined stitching complete the construction.
