Description
Overview
Itamar Burstein designed the Asha table lamp for Ligne Roset. Its shade holds two LED modules behind PMMA diffusers: one lights upwards, the other downwards.
Lighting and controls
At the cylindrical end of the shade sits a 3 W module (3000 K, warm white, 330 lumens); at the conical end sits a 7 W module (3000 K, warm white, 770 lumens). The intensity of each can be varied independently with the two switch/dimmer buttons on the side of the shade: brief touch for on/off, continuous touch for dimming. Cable: black PVC.
Specifications
Overall size: Ø 160 x H 510 mm. Weight: 2.7 kg.
Story
Light in two directions
From a single shade the Asha table lamp sends light both up and down. The upward LED module is at the cylindrical end of the shade and the downward module at the conical end; each has its own PMMA diffuser.
Touch dimming for each module
The switch/dimmer buttons on the side of the shade respond to touch: briefly to switch on or off, continuously to dim. The two modules are adjusted independently of each other.
