Story
At the Triennale
Artek's page calls Armchair 402 a masterpiece of modernist furniture design that Alvar Aalto first presented at the Milan Triennale in 1933.
The zebra print
The page shows the chair with the Zebra textile design, and Artek's archive page says the zebra print has been used on many Artek products, including Armchair 402.
Upright, yet relaxed
The page says the slightly tilted back allows gentle relaxation while the sitter stays upright.
