Description

Overview

Designed by David Lopez Quincoces in 2023, Ark is an armchair for Living Divani. Wood, worked and curved, gives it a dynamic yet harmonious shape that plays in contrast with the metal rod legs.

Construction

The frame is made of birch plywood panels, curved in the lower part, and is available veneered in Charcoal-dyed Oak, multilaminar wood veneer Striped Grey, Stone Oak®, or maple with Canaletto Walnut edges. The front legs are Ø18 mm drawn round steel, powder-coated in Gunmetal Grey or a burnished colour. Seat and back cushions are polyurethane foam covered with acrylic fibre flakes, with fabric or leather upholstery on a non-slip cotton backing. Plastic floor supports accept either felt or black plastic tips.

Specifications

Overall size: 62 x 70 x 64 cm.

Story

Wood as the subject

Ark expresses the beauty of a living and natural material. Its line is simple and pure, and the wood works as a vehicle of expressiveness.

Covers and tips

Covers are fully removable with a zip, and the back and seat cushion covers are joined through a divisible zip. Plastic supports under the frame accept felt or black plastic tips, chosen to suit the floor.
