Anish Wood

Overview

Anish Wood is a new version of Rodolfo Dordoni's Anish coffee table, with new materials, shapes and dimensions. The top is circular or elliptical in brushed ash with a Licorice open-pore lacquer, and the edges are smoothed like a river pebble.

Construction

The 60 cm round and 100 × 80 cm tables stand on a metal base in chrome or polished Pewter. The 180 × 105 cm table is a single-material solid wood version, its top resting on two curved plywood legs in the same ash finish.

Smoothed like a river pebble

Minotti says the soft edge of the top is the result of in-depth technological research. The top is circular or elliptical in a Licorice-coloured brushed ash and sits on the polished chrome or Pewter characteristic metal base.

A large table for the centre of the lounge

The largest version is proposed in a single-material solid wood construction, with the top on two curved bases that the page describes as crafted with exquisite manufacturing skill. Tables of different heights can be combined, which Minotti presents as a way to answer new ways of contemporary living.
