Overview
Alu Shelf 25 cm is a minimalist shelf designed by Simon Legald in 2025 for Normann Copenhagen. It forms a closed, architectural shape that frames the objects placed on it.
Construction
The shelf is made from two precision-bent aluminum plates that interlock without additional reinforcements. The surface is brushed and finished with a protective lacquer, which gives a refined yet industrial character. It is a durable shelf, with a raw look that contrasts with softer interior elements.

Material efficiency in two plates
