Overview
Adrien is a table by Jean-Marie Massaud, 2024, which Poliform describes as having a magnetic presence and being a new icon for convivial spaces. The page says its classic, almost archetypal look is updated by the way the legs are placed asymmetrically, and that the legs look like sculpture.
Construction
The structure is metal, either lacquered or painted, or solid wood. For the top it gives medium density fibre panel with a lacquer or veneer finish, or marble. A rotating tray, listed as a lazy Susan, is optional.
Specifications
- Round size: 1400, 1400 and 740 mm (axes not labelled on the drawing)
- Top: lacquered or veneered fibre panel, or marble
- Optional: rotating tray (lazy Susan)
Story
A table with magnetic presence
Poliform calls Adrien a table with a magnetic presence and presents it as a new icon for convivial spaces.
Legs and finishes
The asymmetrical position of the legs is what the page credits with giving the almost archetypal form a contemporary look. It adds that the finishes are of high quality and make the table a versatile iconic piece.
