Story
Playing with perception
The 1025 side table by James Van Vossel stands for solid elegance and minimalistic essence. Three wooden legs, placed at regular 120-degree intervals, outline an imaginary circle on the floor, and on the surface of the tabletop they appear as perfectly aligned flush circles.
Grain as a graphic effect
The three legs taper towards the bottom, and their different grain patterns create an additional graphic effect against the tabletop. Alongside its role as a side table, the 1025 shows high-precision production quality and a distinctly sculptural look.
