Biography
Background
Oriol Llahona was born in Barcelona in 1977. His studies in Industrial Design took him to Elisava Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, to the Universität Essen and to the University of Southampton. He graduated in 1999 and completed a postgraduate programme in 2004.
Training and studio
An internship at Franc Fernàndez Arquitecte taught him to draw out the essence and the soul of things. For some years he worked under the trademark Positiu, and in 2011 he set up on his own. Today he runs his own Design Studio and supplies design solutions to companies around the world.
Exhibitions and work for the brand
His pieces have been exhibited in Milan, Frankfurt and Tokyo. For Ligne Roset he created the Doric table lamp.
