Biography

Background

Marco Carini was born in 1968. He graduated as an interior designer at the Interior and Architecture Institute in Cremona, Italy, and then followed a self-taught path, working as a freelance designer from the 1990s. His studio was founded in 2016.

Signature Style

Carini takes his inspiration from Mies van der Rohe's remark "I don't want to be interesting, I want to be good". His passion for light and its forms drives a search for a dialogue between grace and balance, with an ironic touch and at times a hint of playfulness. He mixes natural materials and proposes new, sustainable solutions, tailoring each intervention to a specific need.
