Background
Due & Trampedach is the working partnership of Birgitte Due Madsen and Jonas Trampedach, Danish designers based in Copenhagen. Birgitte Due Madsen works as an artist and designer in Copenhagen, across furniture, product design, ceramics and sculpture. Jonas Trampedach (b. 1974) set up his Copenhagen design studio in 2010 after graduating from the Royal College of Art, working with products, furniture and lighting.
Signature Style
The pair gravitate towards materials that invite a tactile experience of surface, quality and craftsmanship, in particular natural materials that age beautifully. Birgitte brings a ceramicist's and product designer's passion for sculptural shapes; Jonas focuses on furniture and industrial design, with clear, legible principles and often a sculptural quality.
