Collection Story
Origin
Wireflow began with Arik Levy's light sculptures, an expressive installation of cables and bulbs. Low-voltage LEDs allowed thinner electrical cables, so Levy started to elevate the cable itself into the design. Vibia's CEO Pere saw the sculpture in Levy's studio and kept asking for it; Levy agreed on condition that they make an extended family suited to many situations. Levy's own site dates Wireflow for Vibia to 2013, and Vibia marked the collection's 10th anniversary in 2024.
Design Language
Fine black electrical cables, slim metal rods and compact LED terminals trace floating geometric volumes — "the essence of lighting in pure geometries". The family is dramatic yet delicate, traditional yet futuristic, graphic yet transparent, and the cable length can be adapted, so each composition is drawn to measure for the project.
Key Pieces
