Collection Story
Origin
Ville is Anderssen & Voll's first outdoor collection for &Tradition, according to a journal article on the brand's site. The Oslo studio says its starting point was the principle of vertical stacking, a straight base with an open seat on top, and that a single pencil swoosh in the side-chair profile set the premise from which an armchair, a bench and a table followed.
Design Language
Colours Warm Black and Bronze Green were chosen to blend with local flora, teak covers the tables and benches, and the chairs use webbed polyester. The studio balances the expressive chairs with stricter tables and benches.
