Collection Story
Origin
Valmy was initially designed for a pared-down, relaxing and comfortable hotel bedroom. It is imagined as a hyphen between the sobriety our time requires and an elegance with no use for passing fashion.
Design Language
A steel wire structure clad in injected foam, a plywood seat and a back cover with polyether foam quilted inside it, its motif made by an automated sewing robot. The base is bent solid beech or black lacquered metal.
Key Pieces
The carver chair (610 x 600 x 810 mm, 480 mm seat height) and the armchair (700 x 710 x 760 mm, 420 mm seat height).
