Collection Story
Origin
Cassina's Torei page credits Luca Nichetto and groups low tables in several shapes under one name. The header reads Luca Nichetto, 2024, the production-year field reads 2013, and the sheet that carries a 2024 news label prints 2012 to 2024.
Design Language
The page's selector offers square, rectangular and round low tables in heights from 23 to 51 cm, with tops in ash, Canaletto walnut, porcelain stoneware or marble and a matt black or polished bronze base frame. The text speaks of Japanese restraint and of tables that can be combined and alternated to build small table-top systems.
Key Pieces
