Collection Story

Origin

Kartell credits the TopTop range to Philippe Starck with Eugeni Quitllet, on its data sheet and on the product pages. The pages introduce the table line through its leg.

Design Language

The leg is the signature: Kartell's copy describes a transparent leg in round or square section, faceted on its surface and built around metal. The tops change from table to table, with glass, lacquered polyester and laminate on the data sheet and melamine on the Square page, while the bases are chrome-plated aluminium steel, painted aluminium or painted steel.

Key Pieces

  • TOP TOP glass, a 160 x 80 cm table with a glass top
  • TOP TOP Square, filed under Bar Tables, in 60 cm and 70 cm sizes with melamine tops
  • Lacquered, laminated and glass-topped tables on the data sheet with square or rounded legs and bases
