Collection Story
Origin
Timb is a collection of wooden chairs by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen: three models, Chair, Armchair and Lounge Armchair. The fact sheet lists the year of design as 2019, and a June 2025 press release added a Brown lacquer and textile-upholstered versions.
Design Language
The collection page describes plain wooden construction with contrasting curves and sharp lines, dowel joints that make screws unnecessary, a solid ash frame and an ash veneer seat and backrest.
