Collection Story
Origin
Fredericia's collection page lists three products under The Mogensen Bench & Chair, all by Børge Mogensen: the bench with a back, the 3236 chair and a bench without a back. The sheets for the first two both give the year 1956.
Design Language
For the chair, Fredericia points to the rush seat chair J39 as the starting point, redrawn with a larger scale and an upholstered seat. The bench is presented as a plain wooden dining bench. Both are offered in oak finishes, with a seat that is upholstered in fabric or leather.
