Collection Story
Origin
Tape is a range of seats by the Japanese studio nendo, directed by Oki Sato, in Minotti's 2018 Collection. Minotti describes seats with a strong personality and a light silhouette, and calls the range a tribute by nendo to the company's tailoring experience.
Design Language
Oki Sato's ironic approach reverses the usual idea of feet emerging from the seat: the legs sit outside the structure. The name comes from a couture detail, a ribbon that holds the Bronze-coloured metal feet.
