Swoon

Origin

Fredericia's collection page lists six Swoon products by Space Copenhagen: the Swoon Lounge (wood base), the Lounge Petit and the Dining Armchair, each in a wood-base and a swivel-base version, and the Swoon Ottoman. The sheets date the Lounge to 2016, the Ottoman to 2018 and the Petit and Dining Armchair to 2019.

Design Language

A Dezeen Showroom feature of 27 November 2020 (partnership content in which Fredericia is quoted) describes curved shells that join back, seat and armrests in one piece, with two cushions attached, on slender wooden legs or a metal swivel base. Fredericia's own sheets for the Lounge Petit list the seat and back cushion as removable, so the feature and the sheets disagree about whether the cushions are fastened to the shell. The Lounge Petit is called a smaller lounge chair with a higher, more upright backrest, and the Dining Armchair a small lounge chair lifted to table height.
