Collection Story
Origin
Kartell's official product pages use the name Spoon for a stool, Spoon Chair for an adjustable work chair and Spoon Table for a folding office table. The pages identify Antonio Citterio with Toan Nguyen as the designers, and the saved family document carries the 2007 reference. These official pages and the document form the source record for the Spoon family.
Design Language
The stool page describes a seat joined to a reinforced central support, a gas-lift pump inside the stem and a height handle concealed in the seat. The chair page describes a thickness that can be customised to the user's weight, with an integrated adjustment control in its stem. The table page identifies a light folding office table whose particular leg design includes a knee-closing mechanism.
