Sophie

Origin

Sophie is a family of chairs and a stool that Poliform credits to Emmanuel Gallina. The technical details of the Sophie chair give 2017, and those of the Sophie Lite chair and the Sophie Lite stool give 2020.

Design Language

All three pieces stand on a solid wood structure, offered in black elm, Spessart oak or Walnut c, with a padded seat in fabric or leather. The chairs sit in Poliform's Day Complements range and the stool in its kitchen stools. The Sophie Lite stool page describes the stool as the chair's classic elegance in a taller, sleeker version, keeping the delicate armrest design and the generous seat and adding a footrest.
