Collection Story

A viaduct translated into tables

Alain Gilles conceived Saragosse as a homage to a viaduct spanning a river, inlet or other obstacle. Broad supports rise beneath round stone tops, giving the low table and sofa end table a shared architectural structure.

Two table heights

The family pairs a broad low table with a smaller sofa end table. Both set their marble tops into structures and bases made from natural-varnished, black-stained solid ash. The repeated circular tops and substantial supports make the two formats read as one coordinated group.

Material contrast

Veined stone surfaces sit against dark timber frames. The low table is offered with a corsé marble top, while family imagery also shows the compact companion table beside it.
