Collection Story
Origin
Rhéa is a range of two tables in the Ligne Roset catalogue, by the duo Donia Ouertani and Nolwenn Michéa. The name refers to Greek mythology: Rhea is the personification of natural forces and the goddess of the earth and animals, represented as living in the depths of the woods and in the mountains.
Design Language
Both tables have natural varnished oak (a base on the occasional table, legs on the console table) and an open pore travertine top. The stone carries 2 layers of a waterproofing agent and keeps a raw, unpolished edge. Its small cavities make the surface grained and irregular to the touch, its colour reflects light, and the stone takes a leaf shape after being cut again.
Key Pieces
The occasional table measures 440 x 280 x 450 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 11 kg. The console table measures 1,150 x 340 x 820 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 37.3 kg.
On INTEBEE the pieces of this collection can be added to a spec sheet with their official images and dimensions, and every revision of the specification is kept in one place for the project team and suppliers.
