Collection Story
Origin
Revolver is a family of powder coated steel pieces by Leon Ransmeier for HAY. His studio site dates the bar stool to 2011, and its 2019 entry lists a small stool and a standing-height table as new additions to the family.
Design Language
The pieces share a bearing-based turning seat, curved edges and a round foot ring. The stool is described as lower, with straight, angled legs. The table is described as having the same curved edges and a sense of symmetry.
