Origin
Sylvain Willenz designed the Rebar Tables for HAY, a series of coffee, side and tray tables that explores reconsidering construction materials and processes. His studio's page dates the project 2018 with HAY as client.
Design Language
The design juxtaposes a reinforced steel bar frame with marble tops and metal trays. HAY's news item says the tabletops and frames are available in new colour variations, in round, square and rectangular shapes.
