Collection Story
Origin
Cassina dates Privé to 2007 and credits Philippe Starck. The manufacturer presents it as a collection of sofas and armchairs rather than a single configuration.
Design Language
Leather capitonné treatment covers seats, backs and arm supports. Cassina identifies a patented fastening system for the leather buttons that form the tufted surface. Horizontal upholstered planes and aluminium feet distinguish both the island sofa and the armchair formats.
Key Pieces
Privé includes large island seating, asymmetrical sofas, and armchairs with fixed or height-variable horizontal supports.
