Collection Story
Origin
Pato Paper is the PaperShell branch of the Pato family drawn by Welling / Ludvik. On the collection page ten products are listed under chairs and stools, and the fact sheets of the five models with a PaperShell seat are dated 2025. On the product pages Fredericia places it as the latest addition to Pato, developed together with the Swedish company PaperShell.
Design Language
The Pato outline carries over, with the shell now a fossil-free cellulose composite that Fredericia calls 100% bio-based. Frames are solid steel wire in the sledge models and steel tube in the four-leg models, finished in black or chrome, and the screws that hold the shell are visible and black.
