Collection Story
Origin
Pato is Fredericia's family of chairs by Welling / Ludvik. Its collection page counts eleven products, and the fact sheets for the sledge armchair and the four-leg chair both date the design to 2013. The studio says it developed the family together with Fredericia.
Design Language
Recycled polypropylene is the shell material, and the same shell can be had upholstered. What changes from piece to piece is the base: sledge, four-leg, swivel, office and stool or barstool versions all appear on the page. The studio adds that the seat edge carries a fillet on its inside.
