Origin
The O2 family is Jonas Forsman's two-piece seating group for HAY. Its members are the O2 Lounge Chair and O2 Ottoman, which HAY presents together while also giving the ottoman an independent role as a footstool or extra seat.
Shared construction
Both pieces use steel tubing and self-supporting, shrink-fitted textile. This production method forms the supporting surface with limited material, while the chair's textile responds to posture and the ottoman provides a lower companion form.
