Collection Story
A name from the Japanese country house
The name Noka refers to the Japanese country house, whose floor is covered with tatami mats that form an exterior corridor linking the heart of the house to the vast exterior. For the designer, Noka evokes both anchor and bridge: it makes you feel at home and also connects you to others. Like on stilts, it is stable while offering a new perspective.
A modular upholstery range
The range is modular, to create the suspended space you need. It has a settee, a large settee, one-armed settees to the right and to the left, an armchair and compositions numbered 1A to 9. The one-armed settees are also made with a shelf of 98 x 98 cm in natural varnished or black-stained solid ash, and a steel linking piece optionally joins elements in line or in a corner.
Sizes
Every element is 760 mm high with a 440 mm seat height. The settee is 2,300 x 1,000 mm and seats two, the large settee is 3,070 x 1,000 mm and seats three, and the armchair is 1,030 x 890 mm for one place. Covers come in 37 materials.
On INTEBEE the pieces of this collection can be added to a spec sheet with their official images and dimensions, and every revision of the specification is kept in one place for the project team and suppliers.
