Origin
My Chair is Nicholai Wiig Hansen's series of shell chairs for Normann Copenhagen, with My Chair dated 2013. Hansen describes his aim as a perfectly balanced chair of unequaled harmony, blending the familiar with the new.
Design Language
A molded wood shell on a wood or metal base, with a minimalistic silhouette, rounded corners and a curved waist. Metal-leg versions stack, and the series adds a barstool and lounge chairs.
