My Chair is a minimal shell chair in molded veneer designed by Nicholai Wiig Hansen for Normann Copenhagen in 2013. The manufacturer credits its rounded corners and curved waist for a warm, welcoming feel.
Construction
The chair consists of a molded wood shell and a base of either metal or wood. Rubber pieces between shell and legs and plastic leg-end parts were designed for Normann Copenhagen for this chair. The versions with metal legs stack up to 6 pieces.
