Collection Story
Origin
Moon is Space Copenhagen's table family at GUBI, dated 2015 on the dining, coffee and lounge table pages. GUBI calls it a family of organic, rounded tables for both domestic and public spaces.
Design Language
According to GUBI, every table is defined by the interplay between a solid oak tabletop and a smooth half- or full-moon shaped base. The bevelled surfaces serve as structure and ornament, and the text points to traditional Danish carpentry and a marriage of design and craftsmanship.
