Solid wood construction
The stool has a sculpted seat and three legs. Audo offers solid beech or solid oak versions, including Black Stained Beech, Brown Oiled Oak and Soap Treated Oak finishes.
Dimensions
ML 42 measures 55.5 cm wide × 35 cm deep × 52 cm overall. Audo lists the seat at 48 cm.
Story
From workshop type to exhibition piece
For a 1942 furniture exhibition at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art, Mogens Lassen reinterpreted the traditional shoemaker's stool as a light three-legged design. Audo now describes ML 42 as a collector's item.
Material versions
The low stool is offered in solid beech and solid oak. Its named treatments change the surface while the published overall and seat dimensions remain those stated for the ML 42 Stool.
