Origin
Lucio is a seating family designed by Vincent Van Duysen, Creative Director of Molteni&C since 2016, and dated 2024 on its datasheet. Molteni&C's text describes a sofa, armchair and dormeuse united by an artistic vision, and quotes Van Duysen: "The Lucio series is characterized by fluidity and femininity".
Design Language
Each piece carries tone-on-tone stitching and a strategically placed opening in the backrest. The datasheet credits the expertise of Italian upholstery masters, and the pages describe padding built on Polimex, a material Molteni&C says is 50% recycled and 100% recyclable.
