Collection Story
Origin
Lilo is a Moroso family of armchairs by Patricia Urquiola. A refined fusion of design memories lets it salute Scandinavian design and the modernist mood of the 1950s, and it carries an echo of the great Italian masters as well.
Design Language
The backrest leans back only slightly and the armrests are long, an arrangement that supports relaxed sitting. The upholstery is soft and welcoming. Inside the upholstered structure is a steel frame, surrounded by moulded polyurethane foam. The fabric can be chosen section by section, piping included, and the covers of the collection are not removable.
Key Pieces
The family comprises an armchair, a wingback version called Lilo Wing, a chaise longue and a foot stool. The armchairs and the foot stool have frames of solid ash built from cylindrical members with a diameter of 4 cm, and the chaise longue rests on two solid oak legs of 4 cm thickness. The seat height without load is 42 cm on the armchair and the foot stool and 40 cm on the chaise longue.
