Collection Story
Origin
Fredericia's Klint Collection page lists two products by Kaare Klint, the Klint Chair (model 3207) and the Klint Armchair (model 3208). Both product pages open with an introduction that dates the design to 1936 and relates it to the English Country Chair.
Design Language
The two models use one construction of solid wood, paper cord and molded veneer. The shared introduction credits a high back and calibrated ergonomics, and the impact notes present the paper cord seat as a foam-free choice.
