Collection Story
Origin
K-Waiting is an upholstered collection by Rodolfo Dordoni for Kartell. Kartell's pages introduce it with the phrase "the comfort of an embrace".
Design Language
Strict volumes of formal simplicity meet soft, rounded lines. For Kartell, home and contract settings overlap more and more in K-Waiting, so the page names versatility as the key idea, and it adds that all of the fabrics carry contract-use certification.
Key Pieces
The library holds the sofa, the armchair and the dormeuse. The data sheet also lists a swivel armchair, a seat-only piece and cushions.
